Elliot could not be bothered with her, so he took the coat from the rack and helped Sheena put it on.
"It's getting cooler today. Remember to keep yourself warm and wear more layers," he advised.
Sheena felt his care and could not help but tease him. "You're all grown up yet still competing with our kids?"
"You're my wife first. No one can say otherwise," Elliot insisted stubbornly.
That included their children.
Sheena caressed his face. "You're not too happy about having us all sleep together every night, are you?"
He nodded. "They're five now. It's time to move them back to their own room and let them dress themselves. You shouldn't help them. They need to learn to do things on their own and become independent."
He would not compromise on that matter.
Sheena was his, especially at night.
Adora listened nearby, discontentedly pulling up her pants and accusing him, "Daddy, you're so mean! You won't let Mommy be nice to us!"
Elliot did not argue, simply tossing her beige little coat to her, which happened to cover her tiny head.
"Hurry up, dress yourself. Mommy might spoil you, but if it were me, you better get ready for a spanking before breakfast if you run around again," he warned.
"Ugh! Daddy, you're such a meanie! You're the meanest!" Adora muttered softly, continuing her complaints.
While she grumbled, she obediently put on her coat.
As she dawdled, Asher sat on the other side, quietly dressing himself, appearing exceptionally well-behaved and sensible.
From start to finish, Asher never asked for help dressing.
He methodically put on each piece of clothing, exuding elegance even at his young age.
Once dressed, he quietly left the room and went downstairs for breakfast, saying not a word.
Elliot and Sheena both watched him.
Sheena sighed with concern.
Asher's maturity beyond his years only made her heart ache even more.

The readers' comments on the novel: Wait, She’s a Billionaire (Sheena Lawson)
The novel is too abusive it spoils the joy of reading it. I hate the punishment part between sheena and Eliot....
