Hearing that, Lance quickly intervened, "Keaton, surrender now, and you might live. Resist, and you're as good as dead! Don't harm Mr. Jenkins!"
Keaton laughed maniacally, pressing the gun harder against Elliot's temple.
"Have your men back off and drop their guns. If they try to attack, I won't hesitate to pull the trigger. Let's see if your men or my bullet is faster!"
Lance did not dare risk Elliot's life, so he ordered his men to retreat as Keaton demanded.
Keaton, still holding the gun to Elliot's head, sneered.
"Looks like your men care a lot about your life, Mr. Jenkins. Aren't you supposed to be all-powerful? Why don't you resist?"
Elliot remained silent, his cold eyes narrowing slightly, allowing himself to be held hostage.
At that moment, Lionel arrived with Sheena.
Sheena rushed out of the car, and from a distance, she saw Keaton holding a gun to Elliot.
"Elliot!" Sheena shouted.
Elliot maintained his composure throughout the ordeal, but he immediately lifted his head when he heard her voice.
She was here, standing unharmed.
Keaton never managed to reach Sheena or the kids. The bad signal was due to his jamming device.
Elliot's face turned cold. "You tricked me."
Keaton chuckled, his features twisted with insanity.
"Yes, I did. Look how much you care about her. Just a few missed calls and you lost your cool."
Elliot fell silent again.
Keaton's leg wound was barely treated, and the pain from the gunshot was intense.
Elliot knew he could not last much longer. He was just holding on through sheer willpower.
"Mrs. Jenkins, long time no see."
Sheena took several steps forward and said, "Keaton, tell me what you want. If it's within my power, I'll agree to it."

The readers' comments on the novel: Wait, She’s a Billionaire (Sheena Lawson)
The novel is too abusive it spoils the joy of reading it. I hate the punishment part between sheena and Eliot....
