Nathaniel thought Mavis was indeed easy to please.
However, Gabrielle's words reminded him that he should get Mavis a gift.
What should he get?
Nathaniel scrolled through his contacts, hesitating before finally dialing Sheena's number.
On the other end, Sheena was playing games with her two kids.
Hearing the phone ring, Adora picked it up first.
"Who is it? What do you want with my mommy?" Adora's sweet, innocent voice came through.
Nathaniel's tone softened as he replied, "Adora, it's me."
"Oh, Uncle Nate! I'll pass the phone to Mommy."
Sheena took the phone and gathered her kids in her arms.
"What's up?"
Nathaniel froze for a moment when he heard Sheena's voice.
Nonetheless, he quickly regained himself and asked, "It's nothing serious. I just wanted to ask for your advice on what to get a girl for her birthday."
"Is it for that girlfriend of yours?"
"Mhm."
Sheena started giving him suggestions and sharing various ideas.
From their interactions, she sensed that Mavis was a wonderful girl who genuinely liked Nathaniel.
She might be a great match for him.
The conversation about the gift lasted quite a while.

The readers' comments on the novel: Wait, She’s a Billionaire (Sheena Lawson)
The novel is too abusive it spoils the joy of reading it. I hate the punishment part between sheena and Eliot....
