The manager immediately understood Nathaniel's plan and responded quickly, "Of course, Mr. Nicholls. What time will you be arriving? I'll prepare everything ten minutes in advance."
"Sure," Nathaniel replied.
After hanging up, Nathaniel drove to the office.
It was only 3 p.m., not yet the end of the workday.
Employees noticed Nathaniel's casual outfit, a stark contrast to his usual formal attire, and began to whisper among themselves.
"Is Mr. Nicholls going on a date?"
"He looks so handsome in casual clothes. It's like seeing a different person."
"Exactly. He goes from being the strict CEO to the boy-next-door. It really doesn't matter what he wears, he always looks good."
Returning from an errand, Tommy saw the group gossiping and quickly intervened, "Is your work done? Do you need another reminder of what happens when you slack off? Do you want me to make an example out of you?"
"Sorry, Mr. Chapman. We were just discussing work. We'll get back to our desks now."
After they left, Tommy headed to the elevator with a grim expression.
He needed to update Nathaniel on the tense situation in Gurenchti.
As Nathaniel's private elevator reached the top floor, he glanced through the glass walls and saw Mavis at her desk.
She was finally back at the office, diligently typing away.
He fixed himself in the reflection before walking into her office.
Since their last argument, Nathaniel had given Mavis her own office as a form of compensation.
Focused on her work, she did not notice him enter.
Nathaniel stood for a few minutes.
Seeing that Mavis still had not noticed him, he gently knocked on her desk with his knuckles.

The readers' comments on the novel: Wait, She’s a Billionaire (Sheena Lawson)
The novel is too abusive it spoils the joy of reading it. I hate the punishment part between sheena and Eliot....
