Sheena pushed the door open and entered the room.
Mavis was having a great time with the kids and did not hear her approaching.
Instead, Adora was the first to spot Sheena, and she immediately ran up to her.
Her head was beaded with sweat, and she cheerfully said, "Mommy! Auntie Mae came to play with me!"
When Mavis heard the title "Auntie Mae", a hint of discomfort flashed across her face.
She knew that the role of godmother might soon change hands,
Nonetheless, Mavis maintained a calm demeanor to prevent Sheena from noticing anything amiss.
She smiled and said, "Sheena, I hope you don't mind me dropping by unannounced."
"Don't worry about it. I actually hope you can visit more often. The twins really adore you," Sheena replied warmly.
"Asher and Adora, why don't you go with Auntie Freida to take a bath first? Mae and I need to chat about something."
Sheena knew Mavis must have something important to discuss.
Leading Mavis upstairs, Sheena fetched a bottle of red wine and said, "This is from Elliot's collection. Try it and see if you like the taste."
Anything from Elliot's collection would surely be exceptional.
Mavis was flattered and shocked.
"Sheena, I don't really drink. Maybe we shouldn't open it."
Sheena could read Mavis's thoughts and simply opened the bottle, pouring her a glass.
She chuckled and teased Mavis, "Are you trying to make excuses now, Mae? Have you forgotten we were drinking together just the other day?"
Oh right.
They had that bonfire party at E&S Haven…
They did share a drink that night together.
Mavis awkwardly scratched her head and laughed, changing the subject.

The readers' comments on the novel: Wait, She’s a Billionaire (Sheena Lawson)
The novel is too abusive it spoils the joy of reading it. I hate the punishment part between sheena and Eliot....
