Wait, She’s a Billionaire (Sheena Lawson) novel Chapter 1794

The host took the microphone and approached Adora, squatting beside her.

"Adora, can you tell us what you've learned at kindergarten? Did you grow up the way you hoped you would?"

Adora was unfazed by the spotlight and took the microphone confidently.

"I made some really great friends at kindergarten. We played games together and learned new things. I had so much fun every day, and I promise I'll keep growing up well!"

Adora looked at the audience and spotted Sheena, Elliot, and Asher.

She waved at them, and Sheena waved back, her face glowing with pride.

"I believe you will grow up to be an amazing person, Adora. Don't forget the good times you have at kindergarten when you start elementary school!"

Adora gave the teacher a high five and went back to her seat.

After Adora's performance, the kindergarten arranged a few more activities, including songs and recitations from the teachers and some performances by other kids.

Asher was getting a bit bored, so he took out his iPad and started working on some advanced math puzzles that were more suited for older students.

He seemed more interested in the numbers than in the performances around him.

As the program was nearing its end, Elliot received a phone call.

He spoke in a low, serious tone and then got up and left the room.

Sheena watched him go. She knew he was off to handle something important and did not comment on it.

After the performances, all the children ran up to the stage and bowed to the audience.

They shouted in unison, "Thank you for everything, Mommy and Daddy!"

Sitting next to Sheena, Asher had a thoughtful look in his eyes, which was different from his usual demeanor.

Noticing the change in her son's expression, Sheena immediately guessed what was on his mind.

She pulled Asher into a hug and comforted him. "Once today is over, you and Adora will start elementary school together. Daddy and I have already found a great school for you, so you'll get to experience what it's like to go to school just like Adora."
