Adora was ridden with guilt about Mavis's injury, so seeing Mavis here made her incredibly happy.
Mavis gently picked her up, smoothing down her messy hair, and whispered, "I'm all better now, Adora. Don't worry, okay? How about I take you and Asher to play in the snow later?"
Adora's eyes lit up instantly at the mention of playing in the snow.
"Yay! Auntie Mae, build a snowman with me!"
"Alright, whatever you want," Mavis replied, playfully pinching her little nose.
Gabrielle joined in, chatting with Adora.
Nathaniel wanted to join the conversation but felt it was not the right moment, so he sat quietly on the side.
After another half hour, Asher slowly woke up.
Adora rushed over and shook his arm, exclaiming, "Asher, wake up! Auntie Mae is going to take us to play in the snow! I didn't have enough fun the last time it snowed."
Still groggy, Asher simply nodded.
Adora hurried to grab her clothes but tripped over a scarf.
Thankfully, Nathaniel caught her in time, lifting her into his arms.
Adora giggled and gave him a big kiss on the cheek.
"Thank you, Uncle Nate! Can you help me put on my clothes? I want to go play!"
Feeling needed for once, Nathaniel carefully dressed Adora.
Feeling much more awake, Asher noticed everyone in the room.
Mavis stood up, grabbed a small fur coat, and spoke softly, "Asher, how about I help you get dressed? It's snowing heavily, and everything is covered in snow. Would you like to see it?"
Asher did not dislike Mavis, so he nodded, letting her help him get dressed.
Once both children were bundled up, they all left the room together, ready to enjoy the snowy day.
Lionel followed closely behind, worried about any potential accidents.
The snow continued falling heavily, covering the ground in a thick white blanket.

The readers' comments on the novel: Wait, She’s a Billionaire (Sheena Lawson)
The novel is too abusive it spoils the joy of reading it. I hate the punishment part between sheena and Eliot....
