Standing before the priest, Sheena and Elliot held hands, gazing deeply into each other's eyes.
Their love was evident to all.
"Mr. Elliot Jenkins, do you take Ms. Sheena Lawson to be your wife, to love, honor, and cherish, in sickness and health, for richer or poorer, for as long as you both shall live…"
Before the priest could finish, Elliot interrupted with teary eyes, "I do. You can rest. I'll say it myself."
The crowd burst into laughter, and even Sheena was amused by his antics.
As Elliot held her hands, Sheena could feel them sweating, and even his fingers trembled slightly with nerves.
Despite already being married, Elliot seemed overwhelmed with emotion, his eyes filling with tears, his throat tight with emotion.
Sheena was moved by his sincerity and felt her own eyes welling up.
In a voice trembling with emotion, Elliot spoke, "Thank you, Ms. Sheena Lawson, for becoming my wife. I swear by my life, from this day forward, in poverty or wealth, in sickness or health, I will love, honor, cherish, and protect you. This vow is eternal. Not even death will part us."
Sheena was taken aback by his words.
Not even death would part them?
If she were to die first, was he planning to join her immediately after?
She felt both deeply touched and slightly exasperated by his dramatic declaration.
Elliot squeezed her hand, reminding her it was her turn.
Pushing aside her thoughts, Sheena echoed his words with a soft, loving voice, "Thank you, Mr. Elliot Jenkins, for becoming my husband. I swear by my life…"
After their vows, Asher and Adora brought them the rings.
As they exchanged rings, they locked eyes, and before the host could speak, they leaned in for a kiss.
The audience erupted in applause, and Mavis could not hold back her tears.
Adora quickly handed her a tissue and said, "Auntie Mae, these are happy tears, so I won't tell you to stop."
Mavis chuckled and teased, "You little rascal. Is there anything you don't know?"
Soon, the wedding concluded, and Elliot and Sheena started making rounds to toast their guests.
By the time they reached Mavis's table, she had already had quite a bit to drink, her cheeks flushed.
Raising her glass, Mavis offered her blessings, "Congratulations, Sheena and Elliot!"
Sheena downed her drink and gently advised, "Mae, you should drink less. It's not good for your health."

The readers' comments on the novel: Wait, She’s a Billionaire (Sheena Lawson)
The novel is too abusive it spoils the joy of reading it. I hate the punishment part between sheena and Eliot....
