Sheena reassured Adora, "Your daddy and I will be back soon. You must be on your best behavior, okay?"
Elliot chimed in with a mysterious tone, "When I get back, I have a surprise for you, Adora."
Adora's curiosity was piqued, and she kept bugging Elliot, but he would not budge.
Elliot was getting a headache from Adora's nagging, and he explained, "The whole point of a surprise is that you can't know about it in advance. It wouldn't be a surprise if you found out, right?"
Adora thought about it and realized he had a point, so she settled down.
After the call ended, Sheena could not contain her curiosity.
"Honey, what's the surprise?"
Elliot chuckled. "I think Adora needs a bit of discipline, so I enrolled her in a winter camp. It'll be good for her to learn and grow rather than being so headstrong."
Sheena nodded in agreement, recalling seeing Elliot tapping away on his tablet during the video call.
It made sense now. He was busy selecting a winter camp for Adora.
Elliot's efficiency impressed her, but she was still curious.
"What kind of camp is it?"
"It's something that suits Adora's active nature. It involves physical activities but also requires strategic thinking. She'll need to use her brain as well as her muscles."
Elliot's description was vague, but Sheena decided not to press further, planning to focus on their next steps at work.
However, the long meetings of the day had taken a toll on her, and before she knew it, she had dozed off.
Elliot gently covered her with a blanket, but she suddenly opened her eyes, startling him.
Sheena giggled. "Did I scare you? Sorry about that."

The readers' comments on the novel: Wait, She’s a Billionaire (Sheena Lawson)
The novel is too abusive it spoils the joy of reading it. I hate the punishment part between sheena and Eliot....
