Sheena sensed something amiss, but hearing Mavis in good spirits, she did not dwell on it.

"I'm quite surprised that you have the time to call me, but you haven't seemed too busy lately. Is everything okay with the Nicholls Group?"

"Not really. Tommy's been handling a lot of the work lately. I'm pregnant and just wanted more time to rest. How about you? You always seem rushed whenever we talk."

"Same old, same old," Sheena sighed. "Just more focused on family now. I've not been around much for Asher and Adora when they were younger, but now I'm really into their education."

Mavis teased, "You know I wasn't asking about that."

Sheena chuckled. "You're pregnant. Watch what you say in front of your child. Anyway, I'll let you go. I've got a meeting with a partner soon. Take care of yourself, and I'll visit you soon."
