Nathaniel thanked Ella for her attentiveness.
Ever bold and enthusiastic, Ella responded, "No need to thank me. Just thank your incredible looks. It's rare to find a man as handsome and charming as you."
Her admiration was evident.
One of the Nicholls family's bodyguards stepped in and said, "Ms. Burton, he's already married. Please don't flirt with him."
Ella was shocked.
It seemed that even the most attractive men were taken.
She instinctively looked at Nathaniel's fingers and gave an embarrassed smile.
"You aren't wearing a wedding ring, so I thought you might be single. But that doesn't change how I feel about you."
Nathaniel's heart skipped a beat at her words.
He looked down at his own fingers, realizing he had never worn their wedding ring.
To maintain the appearance of a genuine marriage, he had previously chosen a pair of Mobius ring designs for Mavis.
Reflecting on it now, he felt regretful for letting Mavis down.
Ella noticed Nathaniel's demeanor and assumed she had said something wrong.
She quickly added, "Don't worry. I'm just a fan of handsome men."
Another female staff from the estate approached Nathaniel and apologized, "Please don't misunderstand. Ella is the daughter of our estate's owner. She lives here and has taken a liking to many men. You're just one among them."
Ella playfully stuck out her tongue. "I won't keep you any longer. If you need anything, just call us."
She and the female staff walked away.
As soon as Ella left Nathaniel, she excitedly rushed into Mavis's room.
Mavis, who was organizing clothes, looked up and asked with amusement, "What's got you so happy?"
Ella glanced at the clothes beside her, admiring both the large and the small items.
The tiny outfits were especially cute, so she could not resist leaning down to rest her ear on Mavis's belly and listen for the baby's heartbeat.
"He seems to be kicking you again," Ella said with a smile.

The readers' comments on the novel: Wait, She’s a Billionaire (Sheena Lawson)
The novel is too abusive it spoils the joy of reading it. I hate the punishment part between sheena and Eliot....
