With Sheena rejecting the timberland proposal, the remaining funds agreed upon would no longer be given to Shawn, and there could even be trouble from the timberland management.
For Shawn, this was a severe blow.
Moreover, Sheena demanded that he return all the money he had taken!
It seemed absurd.
Facing Shawn's protest, Sheena remained calm.
"The choice is yours. How you handle it is up to you."
Shawn shouted in frustration, "No, I disagree! Why should I? Alice, help me out here!"
Alice was visibly distressed.
She never expected her incompetent cousin to put up a fight and drag her into this publicly.
As Sheena's assistant, Alice was reluctant to acknowledge their familial connection.
She turned away, making her stance clear as she said, "Shawn, Ms. Lawson has given you a chance. You need to appreciate it. You were in the wrong, and you need to understand the consequences. There is still time to make things right."
Shawn was infuriated and protested, "Alice, I'm your relative! Even though we aren't siblings, I've always considered you as my sister. Now you're siding with this Froanian? She—"
"Shut up!" Alice stormed forward and slapped Shawn.
"This is a workplace, not a place for you to throw a tantrum. Work here is based on merit, not nationality. If you weren't my cousin, I'd have the police remove you right now!"
Shawn was stunned by the slap.
Sheena watched from a distance, calmly instructing someone to separate Alice and Shawn.
Family disputes were typically private matters.
Yet, this was occurring in the office, not at home.

The readers' comments on the novel: Wait, She’s a Billionaire (Sheena Lawson)
The novel is too abusive it spoils the joy of reading it. I hate the punishment part between sheena and Eliot....
