Robbie chuckled, though his smile was filled with obvious sarcasm.

"It's not a threat, Ms. Lawson. It's just a matter of business. A fresh start for Shawn could be a new opportunity for Lawson International. We're all in the same industry, and as businessmen, there's always room for negotiation."

Sheena detested such tactics.

She finally understood why Shawn had been so stubborn about admitting his fault. He had support from the influential Holmes family.

Determined to see Lawson International succeed, Sheena had already factored in these threats, which were of no consequence to her.

Without yielding, she said, "Mr. Holmes, Shawn's situation is already making waves in the industry. The company just started operating in Deltsburg, with many eyes watching its every move. If you're hoping I'll turn a blind eye, you'd be better off finding a good lawyer for your precious son-in-law. I'm sure he'll soon be receiving a court summons."

"Listen here. Don't think just because you're a billionaire that you're untouchable. You're only where you are because of our family's support. If your parents were still around, they'd still owe me some respect," Robbie retorted.
