Adora continued, "Uncle Nate, you weren't like this before. You used to apologize to me and Asher. Why can't you apologize to Beanie now? Daddy sometimes gets angry and might spank me, but that's only when I really upset him. Most of the time, he talks things through with me. If Daddy ever wrongs me, he always apologizes. He treats Asher the same way."
Elliot never believed that being a father meant never realizing his own mistakes.
He dealt with issues fairly and would never let a child feel unjustly treated.
Nathaniel listened quietly, deeply moved. "Adora, you're right."
He turned to Callum, who was standing next to Adora, and pulled the little one close.
"Did I hurt you?"
Callum pouted and said nothing.
He was still in his diapers, and Nathaniel had barely used any force.
Even though Nathaniel knew it probably did not hurt, he still gently rubbed Callum's bottom.
"I was wrong earlier for not understanding the situation before I spanked you. Can you forgive me?"
Callum looked like he was about to cry.
He clenched his little fists and gave Nathaniel's chest a couple of playful thumps, seemingly returning the two spanks he received.
Nathaniel could not help but laugh.
This little guy really held a grudge!
"Did hitting me make you feel better? If you can forgive me, give me a hug."
Nathaniel opened his arms, waiting for Callum to come to him.
Callum giggled and, mimicking Nathaniel, stretched out his arms.
He flung himself into Nathaniel's embrace, rubbing his soft cheek against his chest.
Although he just turned one, Callum already held grudges and sought revenge. This reminded Nathaniel so much of himself as a child.
He chuckled as he patted the little one's fuzzy head.
Suddenly, Nathaniel remembered what Sheena had said earlier.
"Callum, Mama told Auntie Sheena in a dream that she wanted to add a middle name to yours. How about we call you Callum Altair Nicholls from now on?"

The readers' comments on the novel: Wait, She’s a Billionaire (Sheena Lawson)
The novel is too abusive it spoils the joy of reading it. I hate the punishment part between sheena and Eliot....
