Nathaniel glanced at Tiffany, warning her, "If the name Evan Mueller shows up in the news, I don't care who's responsible—I'll hold you accountable."
"Nate!"
However, Nathaniel had already started his car and sped out of the garage.
"Nathaniel!" Tiffany shouted after him, but all she could see were the fading taillights of his car.
She clenched her fists, fuming with anger.
"I wish I could just snatch the Nicholls Group from you and walk all over you! I'll make you beg me mercy and regret your arrogance!"
She took a deep breath, calming her raging emotions before smoothing her hair back into place.
"It's fine. As long as Mavis still wants the divorce, I'll still have a chance," she muttered with a cold smirk, walking away from the parking lot.
…
It was 1.55 p.m., five minutes away until the meeting at 2.00 p.m.
As Mavis's van was in for service, she had no choice but to take a cab.
In the car, she kept her eyes glued to the clock, urging the driver, "Sir, can you please drive a little faster? I'm in a hurry."
"Sure."
Next to her, Ricky was checking the drafted divorce agreement.
Sensing her anxiety, he reassured her, "Don't worry, Ms. Olsen. No matter how tough their lawyers are, I've got this. I'll handle everything."
Mavis appreciated his reassurance and nodded, feeling a bit more at ease.
At exactly 2:00 p.m., the cab pulled up in front of the Nicholls residence.
They were there right on time.
Hugh, the butler, just happened to be stepping out of the mansion and spotted Mavis as she got out of the cab.
"Mrs. Nicholls?" Hugh was overjoyed. "You actually came back! This is wonderful! I'll go get Madam Nicholls right away!"
"Wait, Hugh, there's no need for—" Mavis called after him, but he was already hurrying back inside.
Ricky raised an eyebrow, clicking his tongue.

The readers' comments on the novel: Wait, She’s a Billionaire (Sheena Lawson)
The novel is too abusive it spoils the joy of reading it. I hate the punishment part between sheena and Eliot....
