"Even though we're still legally married, everyone, including me, needs their personal space. Also, I don't want to tell you," Mavis said bluntly.
Nathaniel was stung by her words, feeling a little annoyed.
However, he did not argue further and simply said, "I'll have Troy drive you."
"No need. I'll get a cab," Mavis replied icily before leaving the ward.
Despite their failed divorce attempts and even ended up sleeping together when Nathaniel was drunk, their relationship seemed to have grown more distant and complicated.
After leaving the hospital, Mavis hailed a cab and headed straight to the airport.
As soon as she got out of the car, Nathaniel received a call from Troy.
"Mr. Nicholls, Mrs. Nicholls is at the airport. It looks like she's here to pick someone up."
Nathaniel ordered, "Keep following her."
Mavis was unaware that she was being tailed.
She walked briskly through the airport as if eager to meet someone.
Instead of heading to the arrivals area, she went to the business lounge.
Through the glass doors of the lounge, Troy witnessed a shocking scene.
Mavis was really meeting another man—slim, not too tall, just about 1.8m.
From Troy's angle, he could only see the man's profile, noting a prominent nose and handsome features.
The moment the man saw Mavis, he stood up and gave her a big hug, his face beaming with a smile that suggested they were very close.
Troy's jaw dropped.
He could not believe that Mavis had actually been unfaithful!
He quickly snapped a photo of their embrace and sent it to Nathaniel.
While Troy was busy messaging Nathaniel, Mavis offered to carry the man's suitcase.
They walked side by side out of the business lounge, heading toward the airport exit.

The readers' comments on the novel: Wait, She’s a Billionaire (Sheena Lawson)
The novel is too abusive it spoils the joy of reading it. I hate the punishment part between sheena and Eliot....
