Nathaniel glared at Troy and said, "Let's head back to the Nicholls residence."
…
With only three days until the court hearing, it was obvious that Dylan had intentionally waited until the last minute to inform Nathaniel, leaving him no time for schemes.
News of their impending divorce trial spread quickly through the media, with many eagerly anticipating the court date. Surprisingly, Nathaniel seemed unruffled and even visited Lionel at the National Investigation Bureau for a chat.
Lionel commented, "Your divorce proceeding is all blown up. You two either need to divorce, or you must back down and play the loving couple. Otherwise, the media frenzy won't die down."
Nathaniel calmly sipped his tea.
Lionel continued, "Your divorce with Mavis could shake your company's stock market for days. Once the court grants the divorce, you'll have lost both your wife and your dignity. Yet here you are, casually drinking tea."
Nathaniel savored the tea's aroma and remarked casually, "The tea is excellent."
Lionel was baffled. "This mess seems unsolvable. As a bystander, I can't even help but worry for you. Yet, you're so calm."
"What good would worrying do? I can't change the outcome," Nathaniel replied.
Lionel persisted, "How do you know if you don't try? Remember, you have a son. After the divorce, there's the custody battle. Do you really want things to get that bitter? Callum's starting elementary school soon. Your issues will affect him."
Nathaniel fell silent.
Lionel continued, "If I were you, I'd grab a washboard and kneel on it. It's foolproof, and…" He paused, then added, "It's actually a good idea. Just a bit… embarrassing."
Nathaniel remained detached throughout the conversation as if the matter did not concern him.

The readers' comments on the novel: Wait, She’s a Billionaire (Sheena Lawson)
The novel is too abusive it spoils the joy of reading it. I hate the punishment part between sheena and Eliot....
