Meanwhile, Mavis was even groggier. Her fingers slid across the screen several times before she managed to answer the call.
"Hey Nathaniel, those two guys confessed. It was all Tiffany's doing. I've already sent my officers to arrest her," Lionel's voice came through the phone.
Mavis froze for a moment, slowly opening her eyes. She realized she had picked up Nathaniel's phone by mistake.
"It's for you," she mumbled, handing the phone to Nathaniel.
Hearing a woman's sleepy voice, Lionel's tone shifted from serious to playful.
"Well, well, what's going on here? Things are progressing nicely, huh? Spent the night together?"
"Mm-hmm. Jealous?" Nathaniel smirked.
"Ha! Jacintha and I are plenty lovey-dovey. You should be jealous of me."
Nathaniel scoffed, then got back to business. "The National Investigation Bureau can handle Tiffany's case according to the law. I have no feelings for her, so don't consult me. As for the Sullivan family, from now on, they're no longer part of Froania's elite."
He did not want to spare another glance for that malicious woman.
After giving his instructions, Nathaniel quickly hung up and stretched his arm, embracing Callum and Mavis.
No, more accurately, he was holding his entire world.
The family of three only got up and had breakfast after Callum woke up.
Mavis was utterly disappointed in Evan and did not want Callum to see him again. Hence, she let the little one play in the apartment. To ensure his safety, Nathaniel had Troy and his team stay home to protect him while they went to the hospital.
From the moment they got out of the car, Nathaniel held Mavis's hand tightly, giving her a sense of security.
At the hospital room door, Dylan's jaw dropped when he saw them approaching hand in hand.

The readers' comments on the novel: Wait, She’s a Billionaire (Sheena Lawson)
The novel is too abusive it spoils the joy of reading it. I hate the punishment part between sheena and Eliot....
