Chapter 305
Yuna scoffed, her eyes blazing with defiance. “Your Highness, Garbisch had murdered my father and brother. What do you make
Waldo wondered, ‘Is she also a trained assassin? All this so called training blinded me. Now I can’t even tell a genuine real gain from a las
Moreover, the thought of Jessica being with Leon sent a tidal wave of hatred surging through him. It was impossible to contain
Walso roared, “So, you do have evil intentions. Guards, take her away and beat her to death!”
‘She’s trained to be an excellent two–faced bitch, right?‘ Waldo sneered. ‘Let’s see how many strikes it takes to break that stubborn facader
Held firmly by two guards, Yuna remained calm and unyielding, fixing Waldo with an icy, unflinching gaze. “Must Your Highness always resort for violence?” She asked calmly, “Aren’t you even curious why I deliberately let your men capture me?”
‘Deliberately?‘ Waldo sneered inwardly. He shot Hughie a sharp glance.
Seeing this, Hughie stammered, “I… I only managed to apprehend Miss McBride because she showed up on her own.” He was ashamed. He had scoured every corner of Capitalia, but still couldn’t find her hideout.
Waldo glared at Yuna, his eyes burning with suspicion and fury. Meanwhile, the two guards restrained Yuna, hesitating whether to drag her out given the
current situation.
After what seemed like an eternity, Waldo suddenly sneered. “The same old tricks. Do you think I’d fall for your assassin’s ploy again?”
Waldo suddenly flicked his sleeve, sending the cup on the table hurtling through the air. No one had noticed it was already cracked, and the cup turned
to shards mid–air.

With a dull thud, one shard embedded itself deep into Yuna’s shoulder. Yuna merely frowned, lowering her gaze to the blood trickling from her shoulder wound, not a flicker of pain in her eyes. Her level of composure astonished even Hughie.
Meanwhile, Waldo kept his icy gaze fixed on her and sneered. “Seems the training you received far surpasses Priscilla’s.”
Yuna said calmly, “Your Highness, do you think my sister and I belong to the same faction as the woman who tried to assassinate Prince Leon?”
Blood continued to gush from the wounds on Yuna’s shoulder, yet her expression remained utterly composed, not even a flicker of pain crossed her brow. She had nerves of steel.
Yuna looked at Waldo straight in the eye and asked, “What if I told you, you’ve wronged Priscilla? Would you even believe me?”
“Think I’d believe you?” Waldo scoffed. The same tricks, the same methods, the same damn demeanor. Leon executed his assassin without hesitation, but Waldo was foolish enough to fall for her. Because of that, he had become Capitalia’s biggest joke. Waldo couldn’t trust her anymore.
Yuna gritted her teeth and said coldly, “Yes, we seek revenge against Garbisch and Jessica. I know it was those siblings who annihilated the McBride family. Jessica masterminded the plot while Garbisch led the troops. It was them!
“As for you, Your Highness, truth be told, neither Priscilla nor I hate you, because you’re simply not worth our hatred.”
Waldo’s face darkened instantly, his hands clenching into tight fists. “What did you just say?”
“Your Highness, you should know what I said. I said it was the sister who offered advice, and it was the brother who led the troops to fight. Am I not clear enough, Your Highness?” Yuna’s cold sneer dripped with biting sarcasm, making Waldo burn with shame.
“Your Highness, you are in the rear, seemingly commanding and controlling everything, but in fact, all this has nothing to do
