That night, the system made an appearance after a long bout of radio silence. "You have three days before departing this world, Sabrina. Please prepare yourself."
Sabrina nodded. "Got it."
She looked out at the moon and watched as the dark clouds slowly concealed it. Soon, she would be free of this world. She wouldn't need to see Jordan and Ansel anymore. Her lips curled upward in a small smile at the thought of that.
Three days before leaving the mission world, Sabrina destroyed all traces of her existence. She'd spent a decade in this world; she managed to fill several boxes with everything and anything that had to do with her.
The first thing she put in the box was a quiz she'd taken in her high school literature class. It wasn't anything special, but Jordan had written something on it. "Jordan Faust only loves Sabrina York."
The second thing she put in was the diamond ring Jordan had put on her finger the day he'd proposed. She would never forget the look on his face when he'd done it. He was an elite businessman, yet he'd cried with his face buried in the crook of her neck. He'd repeated, "You're finally mine, Rina!"
Everything she put into the boxes was treasures she'd kept safe in hopes that she could tell her and Jordan's descendants about the stories behind them when they were older. It looked like there wasn't any need for that anymore.
Sabrina started a huge bonfire in the garden and burned the boxes to ashes. As the flames grew taller, she turned and walked away without another look back.
…
Two days before leaving the mission world, Sabrina saved and copied all the photos, videos, and phone call recordings Holly had sent her into a USB drive.
Then, she took a cab to the management office of the city's electronic billboards. She handed the USB drive to an employee. "Could I trouble you with playing the contents of this USB drive on all of the city's billboards? I want it to be on repeat."
