Sophia’s amused look instantly turned fierce when the freard these words. She fixed her gaze on the middle aged couple as a long fumed (marbr
surfaced in her mind.
On her second attempt, she went all out getting back at Yvette and the Chandter family, white Howard was pushing the fans to retaliate against her like this time.
Back then, she wasn’t strong enough. After hurting Yvette, she got injured too, and was comered by a mob of rabid fans. She would never forget her recklessly they hurt her.
Convinced their daughter had been incited by Howard, the couple went to confront the Chandler family.
Jonathan, claiming his authority as Sophia’s father, withdrew the lawsuit without even telling her. He even warned her not to cause any trouble.
She had no choice but to accept it, staying silent as she waited for her wounds to heal. After being discharged, she began her revenge. She gathered Ingrid’s family and the Chandler family together, poisoning them.
“Sophia.” She felt someone gently shaking her. Snapping out of her daze, she realized it was Dorian.
Dorian looked at her with concern. “Sophia, you look so pale. Are you okay?”
Maelis immediately came over to check on her and firmly grasped her arm, fearing that she would collapse.
“Don’t worry, I’m fine,” Sophia said with a faint smile.
Dorian frowned, glaring at the couple. “It’s all their fault. They never bothered to educate their daughter properly, and now they still refuse to admit their mistakes. People like them are really unreasonable.”
Maelis thought Sophia was just frightened, so she lost her temper instantly.
She rushed to Ingrid’s parents and yelled, “I’ve never seen anyone as shameless as you in my life. The real victim isn’t your daughter.
“Don’t tell me she’s just some clueless kid. She knew exactly what she was doing. I can’t believe she would hurt others in such a cruel way.
“People like her can’t be spared. She’s a born monster and should be locked up. If she’s released, who knows who her next victim will be?
“It seems that you aren’t able to educate your child, huh? No worries, people out there will do it for you. People only learn their lesson after suffering losses.”
Daniel Williams and Rebecca Williams were stunned when they saw Maelis. Dressed in designer clothes and exuding an intimidating presence, she was clearly not someone to be trifled with.
Daniel seemed to have realized something. “You’re with the Chandler family, aren’t you?”
Maelis said, “Who I am is none of your business. People like Ingrid deserve the harshest punishment, and as her parents, you won’t escape responsibility either. Honestly, you should all go to jail.”
Mistakenly thinking Maelis was with the Chandler family, Daniel quickly said, “Howard manipulated my daughter. Look at her injured face! She’s the victim.”
Maelis, always straightforward, had never met anyone as shameless as Daniel who kept twisting facts and dodging responsibility. She was so pissed.
Just then, Sophia approached and said coldly/“If you have complaints, take them up with Howard instead of bothering the police officers. By the way, Howard was hurt by Ingrid, suffering burns over sixty percent of his body. He’s currently unconscious in the ICU.”
Rebecca immediately broke down in terrified sobs.

Chapter 103
Daniel’s eyes widered as he stared at Sophia. “You’re Sophia, right? I know you.
Sophia raised an eyebrow, her voice dripping with sarcasm. “What? Are you planning to hurt me to get revenge for your daughter
Daniel was left speechless.
James, who was speaking with the officers handling the case, glanced at Sophia. He came over and said, “No need to make a special trip here, I’ve this covered.”
Sophia rolled her eyes in disdain. “Are you saying I’m bothering your work? Come on, you’re too slow af getting things done. At this rate, you’ll never win over Charlotte.”
James kept a straight face, firmly believing that as long as he didn’t admit it, no one would know what he written all over his face.

Sophia smirked. “I texted Charlotte when I came. She’s out on duty. Looks like you came all this way for nothing”
James kept his composure and said, “I’m not here for her.”
Sophia snorted and said, “A man who won’t admit his feelings can hardly find a wife.”
James felt speechless, thinking, ‘Do you have to say it out loud? Just give me a little dignity!’
Seeing his embarrassed expression, Sophia smirked and joked, “Charlotte is just so perfect. I think it’s time for her to get a boyfriend.”
James remained as calm as ever.
Sophia said nothing more, silently watching as Daniel and Rebecca kept bothering the officers, stubbornly insisting Ingrid was just an innocent girl.
Sophia kindly reminded them, “Do you think seventeen is young? Please, in most states, kids as young as ten can be held criminally responsible.”
Daniel and Rebecca were left speechless. Then Rebecca burst into tears. “Why did this happen to our family? If Ingrid goes to prison, what will become of my son?”
Daniel stood by, indifferent to Rebecca’s wailing and outburst, his gaze fixed silently on Sophia.
Dorian walked over to Sophia and whispered, “Sophia, this guy keeps staring at you. I bet he’s up to no good.”
Sophia sneered. “He’s just weighing the pros and cons.”
During the second cycle, Ingrid attacked her and went unpunished. What was worse, Daniel even managed to extract substantial compensation from the Chandler family by blaming it all on Howard.
Sophia was the one who got hurt the most in all of this.
A surge of long–suppressed hostility welled up inside Sophia as she fixed her gaze on Daniel, her eyes burning with murderous intent.
Daniel shuddered as a chill rose from the soles of his feet, sending a shiver through him and making him instinctively take a few steps back.
Though Dorian was just a kid, he was quick to pick up on people’s emotions. He leaned in and whispered seriously, “Sophia, do you want me to tell Evander to blacklist their family? He can make sure they never show their faces again.”
Sophia turned to him with an amused smile. “Thank you, but that’s not necessary.”
Dorian shrugged and said, “Fine.”
Sophia said, “People like them aren’t worth our time. With Howard hurt like that, Jonathan won’t let them off easy. No need for us to step in. Wouldn’t it be better to just watch them destroy each other?”
