Nathaniel replied calmly, "I'm their godfather. It's what I should do."

Freida nodded and answered, "I did, and everything seems normal. He doesn't have a fever, and he seems to be in good spirits. Perhaps the recent heatwave has affected his appetite, especially considering Mr. Asher has always eaten less than Ms. Adora."

Nathaniel played with Asher for a while with a rattle and noticed his bright, alert eyes and cheerful giggles, indicating no signs of illness.

"Alright, just make sure to keep an eye on him. If the room feels too warm, turn on the air conditioning, but be mindful not to make it too cold. It's best to maintain a comfortable, consistent temperature."

"Yes, Mr. Nicholls."

Nathaniel casually nodded, continuing to swing the rattle.

"You can go now. I'll spend some time alone with them."

Freida trusted Nathaniel alone with the twins, so she exited the nursery and even closed the door behind her.
