The WhatsApp display name on Lionel's phone read [Princess Jacintha].
Jacintha had sneakily changed it while he was asleep and forbade him from changing it back, threatening to cause a scene if he did.
[Jacintha: I'm not coming home tonight. I'm staying out overnight. The officer you sent to run after me is not bad. He's quite handsome.]
Lionel read the message several times, feeling increasingly angry with each read.
It was simply unsafe for a young woman like her to stay out overnight, and it showed just how naive she was.
Moreover, she was even complimenting another man!
Lionel remembered the first time he saw Jacintha in the dungeons of Laubabwe.
She only had eyes for him, praising his looks non-stop.
Lionel felt like someone was snatching away his treasured gem, which he had kept so well.
He immediately contacted the guard stationed at the National Investigation Bureau's entrance to get the phone number of the officer sent to run after Jacintha that day.
The officer's name was Emil Perry.
After dialing the number, someone picked up quickly.
Lionel could immediately hear the loud dance music in the background.
"Emil, where are you? Are you still with Jacintha?"
Emil could barely hear Lionel, and he shouted into the phone, "What did you say? It's too loud here. I can't hear you!"
Suppressing his anger, Lionel raised his voice further and yelled, "Is Jacintha with you?"
"Just what? Do you need me to go on a mission? Hold on, I'll call you back from the restroom."
The call ended abruptly.
Lionel was livid.
It sounded like Emil was in a bar, and if Jacintha was indeed with him…
A place like that would be swarmed with distasteful men.
The thought of Jacintha wanting to stay overnight there enraged him even more.

The readers' comments on the novel: Wait, She’s a Billionaire (Sheena Lawson)
The novel is too abusive it spoils the joy of reading it. I hate the punishment part between sheena and Eliot....
