Wait, She’s a Billionaire (Sheena Lawson) novel Chapter 1372

Although Asher remained silent, his eyes remained fixed on Nathaniel's bleeding wound.

Even though Nathaniel sounded casual, Asher knew it was not the case.

After all, Asher's body would occasionally ache whenever he was not throwing up blood from the virus in his body.

Nathaniel's hand, pierced and bloodied by the durian spikes, must have hurt far more than his own previous experiences.

Adults were always dishonest.

Asher commented, "Because of you, I've endured injections and medications over the years. It also hurts whenever I have a flare-up. It feels better seeing you in pain too."

With a faint smile, Nathaniel responded, "Anything to make you happy."

Despite the pain in his hand, Nathaniel split the durian further, revealing the thick flesh inside.

To avoid getting blood on the durian flesh, he wore disposable gloves taken from the bedside drawer and placed a plate beneath the durian.

Then, he removed the flesh calmly and gracefully, his blue eyes betraying no hint of discomfort.

"You should eat durian in moderation, or you'll get sick. Since you're young, it's best not to overeat. Any leftovers can go in the fridge for tomorrow," Nathaniel advised.

Adora, smelling the blood, felt her heart race with anxiety.

"Uncle Nate, shouldn't you treat your wound first? Are you going to die? I'm really scared…"

Her face turned pale, and she was obviously terrified.

Asher chimed in, "You've fulfilled my first request. Go get your wound treated by the doctor before Adora faints."

Nathaniel quickly noted the issue and said, "Go ahead and enjoy the durian. I'll be back soon."

Even after he left, Adora still appeared fearful.

Yet, it did not stop her from stuffing durian into her mouth.
