Asher immediately raised his head, looking at her in shock.
"Really? You're not angry at all?"
Sheena gently booped his little nose. "Why would I be angry? He made you sick, so making him suffer slightly by asking him to open the durian with his bare hands is only fair."
Under normal circumstances, she would not encourage retaliatory behavior like this.
However, Asher had already done it, and she saw no reason to oppose it.
Asher was pleasantly surprised. "I thought you would scold me…"
"Your dad and I will always stand by you and Adora. We've never thought you're a bad kid. You're a little genius who can solve middle school math problems at five," she said, gently patting Asher's back.
"However, revenge must have its limits. While I'll always side with family, Asher, you must not go overboard. For example, if it involves seriously harming someone's life or hurting them without any reason other than personal dislike, I won't support you. I'll have to discipline you firmly in such extreme cases."
She would always be on her family's side, but she also had principles.
Sheena believed in not provoking trouble but also not shying away from it when necessary.
These principles were non-negotiable.
Asher listened attentively, nodding.
"Mommy, don't worry, I understand. But… why do you look so strange?"
Sheena had been holding her breath since she entered the room, and she was reaching her limit.
The smell in the room… was just too much!
The smell in the room was worse than a sewer for someone who could not stand any foul odors and never ate durian.
When she walked in, her expression turned grim, all because of that stench.
She had been enduring it, not expecting to give Asher the illusion that she was very angry.

The readers' comments on the novel: Wait, She’s a Billionaire (Sheena Lawson)
The novel is too abusive it spoils the joy of reading it. I hate the punishment part between sheena and Eliot....
