Nathaniel stood at the doorway, emitting a terrifying aura as he questioned, "What are you guys doing?"
"Well, well, if it isn't Mr. Nicholls," Rocco said.
He re-fastened his belt buckle and walked over, adding, "We're just having some fun. Care to join, Mr. Nicholls?"
Nathaniel's eyes darkened.
He quickly pulled out his phone and dialed a number in front of all the men in the VIP room.
"Lionel, six men are causing a scene at the Flaming Desire, VIP room 0555, bullying a girl. Would you mind bringing some backup?"
What the heck!
Nathaniel called the cops right off the bat?
Was he out of his mind?
Not only that, but he was calling Lionel, the deputy chief of the National Investigation Bureau!
They would surely be in trouble if they were taken to the bureau!
All the men in the room froze, and even the man restraining Mavis let go of her.
Mavis was exhausted.
She rolled off the table to the floor, huddling in a corner and avoiding Nathaniel's gaze, afraid of being recognized.
Rocco tried to appease Nathaniel, smiling as he said, "Mr. Nicholls, we were just playing around with this girl. She even injured some of us, but we didn't do anything serious to her. We were just scaring her. There's no need to involve Mr. Lionel from the National Investigation Bureau, right?"
If it were people from the police station, they could probably talk their way out of it.
However, involving the National Investigation Bureau was a different story.
Nathaniel stood unfazed at the doorway, his tone ominous.
"Talking to me won't help. Save your explanations for when you're at the bureau."
"Nathaniel, you're sticking your nose where it doesn't belong. Just because you control the Nicholls Group now doesn't mean you're untouchable. Watch yourself." Rocco spoke through gritted teeth.
If they did not leave soon, the National Investigation Bureau would arrive any minute.
Even though the men were angry, they felt uneasy and guilty.
Moreover, they lacked the confidence to confront Nathaniel.
Hence, all they could do was to leave disappointed.
Nathaniel casually placed his hand on the door frame, blocking their way out.
"No one is allowed to step out of this door until the National Investigation Bureau arrives."

The readers' comments on the novel: Wait, She’s a Billionaire (Sheena Lawson)
The novel is too abusive it spoils the joy of reading it. I hate the punishment part between sheena and Eliot....
