"Thank you for giving me a ride to work," Mavis said politely as she reached for the car door handle.
Suddenly, she remembered something odd and blurted out, "Wait a minute. From the moment we left until now, I forgot to tell you the address where I work. How did you know the location so well?"
Nathaniel smiled faintly and explained, "While waiting for you, I asked Tommy. Otherwise, with your forgetful nature, you might have been late by the time you remembered."
Being called out for having a forgetful nature was truly embarrassing!
Mavis sulked and replied, "Thank you for your trouble. I'll get off here."
"Mm." Nathaniel lit a cigarette and casually responded.
Realizing she was close to being late, Mavis quickly got out of the car and sprinted toward the nearby office building.
Nathaniel watched her retreating figure, shaking his head.
"She can be smart sometimes, but then she'll do something foolish. She's quite a contradictory woman."
After finishing his cigarettes, Nathaniel swiftly drove to the lab.
He had a maid uniform placed away in the back seat, and as soon as he arrived at the open-air parking lot of the lab, he quickly changed his clothes.
Nathaniel checked the time.
As it was a weekday, Adora should be on her way to the kindergarten.
Without that little troublemaker demanding to pose for photos, his day with Lionel doing the cleaning should go smoothly.
…
Meanwhile, Sheena personally dropped off Adora at the kindergarten.
In the car, Adora eagerly shared a secret with Sheena.

The readers' comments on the novel: Wait, She’s a Billionaire (Sheena Lawson)
The novel is too abusive it spoils the joy of reading it. I hate the punishment part between sheena and Eliot....
