Wait, She’s a Billionaire (Sheena Lawson) novel Chapter 1538

Once Asher was asleep, Elliot carefully took strands of hair from both Asher and Adora, sealing them in small bags for safekeeping.

Although he was sure the woman in the hospital was an impostor, he needed concrete evidence.

A DNA test would provide undeniable proof.

The next morning, Elliot bought a gourmet breakfast for the kids and stayed with them in the ward until they finished eating.

Only then did he head to the hospital.

In Sheena's ward, the officer on duty reported the previous night's events.

"Last night, Mrs. Jenkins opened the door twice. The first time, she asked how long we would be standing guard. The second time was in the middle of the night. She said she couldn't sleep and had no phone, so she asked us to contact you. Knowing you were with the children, we didn't want to disturb you."

The officer spoke nervously, aware of Elliot's protectiveness over Sheena.

They feared punishment for not informing him of her restlessness.

However, Elliot remained composed and expressionless as he listened.

"Got it. You did well. Change shifts and get some rest."

"Thank you, Mr. Jenkins."

Elliot pushed the door open to find the woman sitting on the bed, eating breakfast at the hospital.

A bowl of plain soup and a hard bun sat before her, and she appeared to be in disdain.

The moment she saw Elliot, she began to complain.

"Honey, thank goodness you're here! The hospital food is awful. The bun is hard and dry. I can barely swallow it."

Elliot masked his cold demeanor, walking over and pulling a chair beside the bed.

"You'll have to make do with the hospital food for now. Once you're discharged, you can eat whatever you like."
