Elliot lowered his gaze, lost in thought.
The pieces were all falling into place…
Keaton had been circling around him to instill fear and mentally torment him.
Perhaps the massacre of the Reynolds family had nothing to do with their feud but was driven by another motive.
Once he had connected the dots, Elliot drove straight to the National Investigation Bureau, bringing Lance along to interrogate Keaton personally.
Keaton's face still bore that eerie smirk when he saw Elliot.
"How does it feel, Mr. Jenkins, to be deceived? Isn't it fun? Are you enjoying the game?"
Elliot had no patience for his mind games.
He spoke icily, "You're responsible for the Reynolds family massacre."
This time, Keaton did not bother to argue, readily admitting it.
"Yes, I did it. Any problem with that?"
"What was your motive? You wiped out nearly a hundred innocent lives. That's beyond evil."
Elliot's voice grew grimmer.
While he did not have any personal ties to the Reynolds, nor did he consider himself a saint, the thought of an entire innocent family being wiped out was too cruel to bear.
Keaton shrugged indifferently.
"Not all murders require a motive. Besides, I never need any motive for doing anything. But Hunter Reynolds knew too much. To prevent any future trouble, I had to eliminate them."
Keaton spoke of the massacre as casually as if he were talking about the weather, and there was no remorse on his face.
Lance spoke into Elliot's ear, "Mr. Jenkins, Hunter did receive threatening calls before the incident. We've retrieved the call recordings, and the voice reconstruction proved that Keaton was the one threatening him."
"Mr. Jenkins."
The door to the interrogation room opened, and officials from the National Investigation Bureau entered.
Elliot nodded to them.

The readers' comments on the novel: Wait, She’s a Billionaire (Sheena Lawson)
The novel is too abusive it spoils the joy of reading it. I hate the punishment part between sheena and Eliot....
