"Exactly. I think she's purposely making our lives hard."
Aileen entered the room, clearing her throat twice.
The meeting room fell silent instantly.
Everyone looked at her in shock.
She wore a professional business suit, and her long hair had been cut into a sleek, short style, making her appear even more formidable.
Aileen handed a stack of documents to Mavis, signaling her to distribute them to everyone.
"Thank you, Mavis."
Once everyone had a copy, Aileen began, "I've been in this department for over a month. You should all know what kind of person I am. When working under me, drop any unnecessary scheming. I don't tolerate nonsense. As long as you don't cross my boundaries, we're cool. But if anyone tries to play tricks here, don't expect me to go easy on you. I don't care how you got into this company. If you're in my department, watch your act."
Aileen's words carried significant weight.
Diana had been pulling tricks here and there, and she immediately sat up straight.
"It's the end of September, and the third quarter of the year is about to end. I expect our department to show some results in the final quarter. We must not let the company down. Diana, you'll continue to assist in reviewing and revising the rules and regulations of the administrative and logistical while managing daily administrative tasks. If you're unclear about anything, communicate promptly with your team leader."
She then turned to another lady and said, "Rowena, put your current tasks on hold and assist Diana. The regulations must be thorough and flawless."
…
"Mavis."
Suddenly hearing her name, Mavis instantly focused, waiting for Aileen's instructions.

The readers' comments on the novel: Wait, She’s a Billionaire (Sheena Lawson)
The novel is too abusive it spoils the joy of reading it. I hate the punishment part between sheena and Eliot....
