Nathaniel's eyes were full of disdain, making Mavis even more embarrassed.
After all, this plan was the result of an entire afternoon's work.
She quickly moved to block her screen, stammering, "I-I'm not done yet! This is just a draft!"
There was no confidence in her voice.
She was not good at creating plans, but thankfully, Aileen had given her two weeks to refine it.
Nathaniel decided not to crush her spirit any further and asked, "Are you planning to sleep at the office tonight?"
Judging by her current state, she might have actually spent the night there if he had not come.
He simply could not understand what she was thinking.
Mavis finally noticed the time. It was almost 10 p.m.
Her stomach growled loudly, and a blush quickly spread from her neck to her ears.
"You haven't eaten?"
Mavis nodded.
She would not have realized it was past quitting time if he had not shown up.
Nathaniel was displeased and said coldly, "Pack up. We're going home."
Mavis did not dare to refuse.
She quickly saved her work, grabbed her bag, and followed him out.
He walked fast, and Mavis had to practically jog to keep up.
Before long, the luxury car roared to life and sped off, causing Mavis to cling to her seatbelt in fear.

The readers' comments on the novel: Wait, She’s a Billionaire (Sheena Lawson)
The novel is too abusive it spoils the joy of reading it. I hate the punishment part between sheena and Eliot....
