As night fell, Nathaniel's team returned to their base.
They appeared dejected as they reported, "Mr. Chapman, we haven't found Mr. Nicholls."
Gurenchti was a chaotic country with overlapping alliances between different forces.
Hence, they could not afford to search too aggressively for Nathaniel lest they anger another gang and create additional problems.
Tommy stared anxiously at the dimmed red dot on the system screen, representing Nathaniel's satellite tracker.
It was installed on his phone and body for constant location updates.
Although it was waterproof, prolonged exposure to seawater could deactivate it.
At this point, Tommy could only temporarily confirm that Nathaniel was still alive.
While he was frantically thinking of solutions, a loud buzzing sound suddenly filled the air.
Suddenly, a man rushed in, saying, "Mr. Chapman, a private plane is circling overhead, seemingly looking for a place to land. Should we stop it?"
Tommy instantly remembered about Mavis's visit and instructed, "Guide the plane to land immediately. Ensure you treat the passenger respectfully and bring her to me as soon as she lands!"
"Yes, Mr. Chapman!"
Meanwhile, on the plane, Mavis peered down at the mountainous terrain below, her heart pounding with excitement.
The pilot had just informed her that they were over Gurenchti.
She was finally breathing the same air as Nathaniel.
"Ms. Olsen, we've received landing clearance. We're descending now. Please prepare for landing."
As the plane gradually descended, Mavis tried to calm her racing heart, patting her chest.
She eagerly anticipated seeing Nathaniel, wondering if he was as excited to see her as she was to see him.
The plane touched down and taxied along the runway.
One of the staff members handed Mavis her luggage, smiling as she said, "It was a pleasure meeting you. Hope to see you again."
As soon as the words left her mouth, the cabin door opened, and someone came to take Mavis's luggage.

The readers' comments on the novel: Wait, She’s a Billionaire (Sheena Lawson)
The novel is too abusive it spoils the joy of reading it. I hate the punishment part between sheena and Eliot....
