Tommy entered Nathaniel's office with a stack of documents and noticed he was smiling.
It seemed like the date went well.
"Mr. Nicholls, here are the documents you need to sign," Tommy said, flipping to the last page.
"There's also an update on Gurenchti. Giorgio has moved our hostages."
They had mobilized several forces to discover that Giorgio had quietly transferred the hostages.
"Mm," Nathaniel responded nonchalantly.
He had expected this.
After all, Giorgio would not release the hostages easily. They were his leverage.
Tommy continued as Nathaniel signed the documents, "There's another matter. Among the hostages, we discovered not just our people but also Ms. Lawson's assistant, who was our contact for this project."
The mention of Sheena made Nathaniel's hand pause for a moment.
"Did the Lawson Group take any action?"
Nathaniel knew Sheena well.
If her people were captured, she would undoubtedly take action to rescue them personally.
Tommy shook his head. "Not yet. Do you have any plans, Mr. Nicholls?"
Finishing the last document, Nathaniel walked to the window, lighting a cigarette as he pondered.
After a long silence, he instructed, "Keep monitoring Giorgio's actions closely. If anything seems off, take immediate action. Also, be prepared to cooperate with the Lawson Group."
The new company in Gurenchti was a joint venture between the Nicholls Group and the Lawson Group, which was why Nathaniel was so invested.
Anything involving Sheena's interests had to be handled with utmost care.
Meanwhile, at the Lawson Group, Sheena signed the last page and handed the document to Wendy.
"Check the situation in Gurenchti and find Lisa's location."
"Got it, Ms. Lawson," Wendy replied.
Lisa was the senior staff member Sheena had sent to Gurenchti to negotiate with Nathaniel's company.

The readers' comments on the novel: Wait, She’s a Billionaire (Sheena Lawson)
The novel is too abusive it spoils the joy of reading it. I hate the punishment part between sheena and Eliot....
