"Sheena, don't worry about it. I don't have much going on lately. I'm at a cafe called Seine on 74 Crescent Street."
After the call, Mavis opened the box and took out the items inside.
"I made these cartoon figures for you and Asher. Do you like them?"
Adora carefully examined the handmade dolls, her eyes lighting up with excitement.
"Thank you, Auntie Mae! I love them! My deskmate's mom made her a little toy, and now I have one too! Thank you so much!"
After expressing her gratitude, Adora stood on her tiptoes and kissed Mavis on the cheek.
Then, she happily played with the wool doll.
The recent cloud of gloom hanging over Mavis finally lifted, replaced by the warmth of Adora's smile.
She felt a sense of lightness and joy that she had not experienced in a while.
Mavis gently patted Adora's head and said warmly, "I'm glad you like it. I also baked some cookies and made a little bear cake. I hope you enjoy them."
Adora picked up Asher's doll and compared it with her own.
She giggled mischievously and joked, "Poor Asher isn't as pretty as me! When he gets here, I'll tell him Auntie Mae didn't make one for him."
What a cheeky little girl!
Since they were in a cafe and needed to order something, Mavis got herself a coffee with sugar while they waited for Asher to arrive.
Half an hour later, the driver brought Asher to the cafe.
As soon as he walked in, his handsome face drew the attention of many customers.
Some people even took out their phones to take pictures, but one stern look from Asher made them think twice.
How could a five-year-old have such a piercing gaze?
The Jenkins family's driver walked up to the girls with their phones out, his face stern as he warned them, "Delete the photos, or we'll have to take legal action."
The girls had only wanted a picture because Asher was so good-looking.
Under the driver's watchful eye, they nervously deleted the photos and quickly left.

The readers' comments on the novel: Wait, She’s a Billionaire (Sheena Lawson)
The novel is too abusive it spoils the joy of reading it. I hate the punishment part between sheena and Eliot....
