After watching Asher through the window for a while, Sheena and Elliot finally left the hospital.
On the way home, Adora sat in Sheena's lap, holding the little kitten tightly, her face full of worry.
As they neared home, Adora's lip quivered, and she said, "Mommy, maybe Asher shouldn't have come to the event today. If he had stayed home, this wouldn't have happened."
Adora, being the considerate child she was, blamed herself for what happened.
If Asher had stayed home, he would not have collapsed.
Hearing her daughter's words, Sheena hugged Adora tighter, pressing her cheek against Adora's head.
"No, Adora, it's not your fault. Asher was just not feeling well today. It has nothing to do with you. We will wait for him to get better and bring him back home."
"Okay," Adora murmured.
When they got home, the atmosphere was somber.
What should have been a happy day had turned into one filled with fear, and no one was smiling.
Suddenly, Sheena's phone rang in her purse.
She was annoyed, not wanting to deal with any business matters.
To her surprise, the caller was Nathaniel.
The phone kept vibrating, and Sheena answered it sharply, "What do you want?"
Her tone was noticeably cold.
Nathaniel hesitated, then spoke in a gentle voice.
"Nana, I-I heard about Asher fainting and being taken to the lab. I'm so sorry…"
Sheena's frustration was mounting.
She frowned and said, "You don't owe me an apology. Saying sorry to me doesn't change anything."

The readers' comments on the novel: Wait, She’s a Billionaire (Sheena Lawson)
The novel is too abusive it spoils the joy of reading it. I hate the punishment part between sheena and Eliot....
