Adora reluctantly sat up, rubbing her eyes. "Auntie Mae, can we leave now?"
"Yes," Mavis replied, taking their hands as they headed outside. "Now that today is over, you're both officially elementary school students. Is there any special gift you want to celebrate?"
Nathaniel chimed in, "You can ask for anything you like, Asher and Adora. I'll make sure you get it."
Adora shook her head. "No, Mommy and Daddy already gave me my favorite gift. But, Auntie Mae and Uncle Nate, you can keep it on hold. I'll let you know what I want later."
She grinned mischievously and stuck out her tongue.
Mavis chuckled.
What a clever little girl!
On their way back, Sheena called.
Mavis answered the phone and said, "Sheena, we're on our way back."
"Mae, thank you so much for taking care of the kids today. We've finished up here and would love for you to bring them back home," Sheena replied gratefully.
If she had not been so tied up, she would have attended her children's entrance ceremony herself.
Watching Asher and Adora play, Mavis smiled.
"Sheena, Nate and I love spending time with Asher and Adora. Don't mention it. If you're home, we'll head to E&S Haven right away."
"We're home. How about staying for dinner?"
Nathaniel overheard and quickly chimed in, "Nana, we won't be able to make it to E&S Haven tonight. Mae and I have plans this evening."
Mavis was taken aback.
Plans? What plans?
She had no idea what he was talking about.
Sheena replied, "Alright, we'll have dinner together another time then. Take care."

The readers' comments on the novel: Wait, She’s a Billionaire (Sheena Lawson)
The novel is too abusive it spoils the joy of reading it. I hate the punishment part between sheena and Eliot....
