The initial examination results for the twins showed only minor cuts and bruises—nothing serious.
However, within half an hour, the kindergarten had deleted this result, called the ambulance, and sent the twins to the nearest hospital for a complete body check-up.
The subsequent examination revealed what Nathaniel had already seen: a broken left leg, internal bleeding, and a collapsed nose, among other injuries.
It turned out that the kindergarten had been bribed to shift the blame onto Callum.
If Nathaniel had not spent a significant sum to bury the issue, Callum's fight with the other children could have made headlines.
Tommy sighed, "I knew something was odd about the matter. Mr. Callum is only five years old. Even if he's learned some martial arts, he wouldn't have been able to inflict such severe injuries. It's clear now that Mr. Callum was wronged and almost took the fall for something he didn't do. The other party clearly tried to use Mr. Callum to target the Nicholls Group."
He paused and added, "Fortunately, you supported Mr. Callum and ensured a thorough investigation without blaming him too harshly."
Nathaniel tightened his grip on the papers, crumpling them in his hands.
An indescribable emotion churned within him as he mumbled, "I hit him."
"Huh?" Tommy was confused by his sudden comment.
"I hit him that day when we got home."
Tommy was taken aback and quickly tried to comfort him, "Mr. Nicholls, y-you were just momentarily angry. Once you calmed down, you still believed in him. Kids won't hold grudges against their parents. Don't be too hard on yourself. Mr. Callum probably isn't too upset with you."
"He is upset and hurt. Otherwise, he wouldn't have run away from home."
Tommy lowered his head, remaining silent.
Nathaniel set the documents aside and ordered, "Have the National Investigation Bureau continue their investigation and identify those responsible for this mess. As for Mr. Dotson and the parents of the twins, they've clearly been bribed. Make sure the Bureau arrests and deals with them as necessary."
"Understood. I'll take care of it."
"Also, please expedite Callum's withdrawal from that kindergarten. It's best to shut it down to prevent further harm to other children."
Tommy nodded slightly. "You can count on me, sir."

The readers' comments on the novel: Wait, She’s a Billionaire (Sheena Lawson)
The novel is too abusive it spoils the joy of reading it. I hate the punishment part between sheena and Eliot....
