Callum immediately stopped crying and shouted, "Daddy will save me! He will definitely save me!"
The wind on the rooftop was cold, and Asher's beautiful face was so pale that he seemed angelic.
Yet, his weak smile held a mocking edge.
"I also think he will save you."
That way, he could continue his revenge without restraint.
Suddenly, the sound of a car horn cut through the silence.
The kidnappers in the corner instantly straightened up, peering over the edge of the rooftop.
One of them said, laughing, "The money's here. He's quite quick about it."
On a path two hundred meters from the abandoned building, Nathaniel arrived alone.
With 150 million dollars in cash, Nathaniel had brought a trolley piled high with black-covered bundles.
The flat, smooth road made the journey easy, but Nathaniel was stopped thirty meters from the building by the masked kidnappers on the rooftop.
They laughed wildly and taunted, "Nathaniel, you got here pretty fast. It seems that if we have your son, we have the whole Nicholls Group in our hands. It feels pretty great."
Nathaniel's face was grim, his focus solely on the matter at hand.
"The money is here. Release them."
The leader's grin widened as he grabbed Callum by the collar and pushed him against the edge of the rooftop.
"Daddy! Daddy, save me!"
It was an eight-story building, and Callum turned pale from fright, afraid of being pushed off.
Nathaniel's eyes turned red with rage.
He started to advance up the stairs but was halted by the leader's shout.
Stay right there! If you come any closer, I'll push him off!"
Nathaniel stopped in his tracks, his clenched fists shaking with anger.
"I've met your demands. If he's even slightly harmed, I'll make sure you pay for it!"

The readers' comments on the novel: Wait, She’s a Billionaire (Sheena Lawson)
The novel is too abusive it spoils the joy of reading it. I hate the punishment part between sheena and Eliot....
