Back in the car, Tiffany could not stop thinking about what had just happened.
Even though the woman earlier was wearing a mask and a hat, she had a great figure and carried herself with an air of elegance.
Perhaps Callum was referring to an aunt from his mother's side?
Did Nathaniel's late wife have a younger sister?
Besides, she heard that Nathaniel's late wife was supposed to be a foreigner…
The more Tiffany thought about it, the more uneasy she became.
She quickly pulled out her phone and dialed a number.
"Look into Nathaniel's late wife's family, especially any relatives she might have. Stop asking questions and just do as I said. Someone's trying to be the new Mrs. Nicholls, and I must clear the way."
An aunt?
Did this woman really think being loosely related to the Nicholls family would give her an edge?
Dream on!
…
For the next two days, Mavis found ways to visit Callum at kindergarten.
Even though she could only spend a short time with him each visit, it filled her heart with joy.
"Mommy…" Callum's voice was soft and sweet as he called out to her.
However, he quickly realized his mistake and covered his mouth before whispering, "We're having a sports day at school tomorrow afternoon. Mommy, will you come?"
He had been looking forward to it for so long, hearing how other kids would have both their parents there.
Mavis hesitated, lowering her eyes in thought.
She knew Nathaniel would be there for an event like this.
If Nathaniel was going to be there, she could not be.
Seeing her silence, Callum understood. "It's okay, Mommy. If you can't come, I know it's hard for you. I won't make trouble you."

The readers' comments on the novel: Wait, She’s a Billionaire (Sheena Lawson)
The novel is too abusive it spoils the joy of reading it. I hate the punishment part between sheena and Eliot....
