As soon as Callum finished speaking, fireworks burst across the distant sky, painting the night with vibrant colors.
The surrounding crowd gasped in awe.
The words "Mavis, I love you" appeared in the sky at the finale, blooming in fireworks before her eyes. Her heart skipped a beat when she saw Nathaniel standing beneath the dazzling display, and the brilliant lights made his handsome face look almost surreal.
Mavis felt warmth in her heart but could not help teasing, "That's so corny."
"Is it?" Nathaniel asked.
Mavis nodded firmly. "Yeah."
Undeterred, he replied, "Well, I'll try harder next time."
Mavis chuckled and, for the first time since their reconciliation, leaned in to give him a quick kiss.
"It's corny, but I love it."
Callum watched from the side, clapping and dancing with joy.
The fireworks blazed in the sky as the family enjoyed the cozy warmth of their tent on the savannah.
Six months later, Callum turned six, and Nathaniel threw a birthday party for him at the Nicholls residence.
The guest list included close family, friends, and press members.
In front of the cameras, Nathaniel held Callum's hand with one arm and wrapped the other around Mavis's waist. They made no effort to hide their happiness as a family of three.

The readers' comments on the novel: Wait, She’s a Billionaire (Sheena Lawson)
The novel is too abusive it spoils the joy of reading it. I hate the punishment part between sheena and Eliot....
