"I'm just an illegitimate son, not really a prince," Nathaniel said with a self-deprecating smile.
Then, he continued in a more serious tone, "Although I haven't lived with my mother all these years, I know she loves me. Recently, I told her about my beautiful, capable wife and our smart, adorable son. I told her how content I am with my life now. She was happy for me and said she'd like to meet you and Callum."
"What?" Mavis was completely shocked.
Nathaniel went on, "I'm thinking of taking Callum to meet her before he starts elementary school. He hasn't seen a real castle yet, so he'll probably be thrilled."
However, Mavis was far from thrilled. The thought of meeting her mother-in-law for the first time made her suddenly nervous. After all, Nathaniel's mother was royalty and would surely have a powerful presence.
Mavis was unsure how to act around such an impressive presence, and the mere thought of it made her anxious.
Nathaniel noticed the panic on her face and assured her, "Don't worry. She'll probably like you. It'll be Elliot and Nana's 12th wedding anniversary in a few days. I've invited them to join us in Laubabwe. My mother and Nana had a bit of a falling out in the past, so this is a good opportunity to clear the air between them."
Elliot and Sheena were going too?
That meant she would not be alone when meeting Kelly…
Maybe it would not be so nerve-wracking after all.
After considering it, she agreed. "Okay, let's do it."
Winter arrived, bringing the first snow to Laubabwe. The entire city was blanketed in white, making the grand castle look like it was draped in a veil, even more majestic than before.
In the afternoon, Elliot, Sheena, Mavis, Nathaniel, and Callum arrived at the castle as planned. However, Asher and Adora, who were facing important middle school exams, could not join them.

The readers' comments on the novel: Wait, She’s a Billionaire (Sheena Lawson)
The novel is too abusive it spoils the joy of reading it. I hate the punishment part between sheena and Eliot....
