Wait, She’s a Billionaire (Sheena Lawson) novel Chapter 2294

Callum felt utterly defeated. No matter how he tried to charm her, even when she was drunk and not thinking straight, she still would not choose him.

Was he really that unappealing?

Adora was head over heels for that jerk, leaving him no chance to win her heart. Despite his frustration and sadness, Callum could not bring himself to be harsh when he saw her in such a miserable state.

After some thought, he told the driver, "Let's not go to the Jenkins estate. Just stop at any nearby hotel."

Quentin turned around and asked, "Hey now, you're not thinking of taking advantage of her while she's drunk, are you?"

Callum glanced at him. "You've known me for so long. Do you really think I'm that kind of person?"

Quentin clicked his tongue and teased, "The most devoted lovers often end up heartbroken. Is it possible you might waste your chance of ever finding love because you're so hung up on Adora?"

Callum ignored him, patiently comforting Adora in his arms.

It was already late, and Adora tended to talk nonsense and act wild when drunk. If they returned to the Jenkins estate and Elliot caught them, it would likely result in a severe scolding. Hence, he decided to hide out with Adora for a while and come up with an excuse for Elliot later.

The van eventually stopped outside a hotel.

Under Quentin's watchful eyes, Callum put his mask and hat back on and carried the drunk girl in his arms.

In the hotel room, Callum prepared a basin of warm water to clean Adora's hands and face and helped remove her shoes. However, she was restless, kicking off her shoes and crying.

"Brooklyn, don't be mad at me. It's my fault. I shouldn't have argued with you…"
