Wait, She’s a Billionaire (Sheena Lawson) novel Chapter 2295

While the person was showering, Adora picked up the phone to check it. When she saw that the lock screen wallpaper was a familiar hand-woven grass ring, she breathed a sigh of relief.

She had made the grass ring for Callum during her first border mission because the brat had asked for a souvenir. The harsh environment offered little but grass, trees, and critters, so she dried some wild grass and woven it into a ring.

Even though it was simple, it made Callum so happy. He even kept it as his lock screen for years.

Since Callum had brought her to the hotel, Adora did not even need to check herself. She threw off the blanket and gathered her scattered coat and shoes. They grew up together, and she trusted Callum completely, knowing he would not dare try anything.

With a mission report due at the bureau, Adora casually took Callum's coat, quickly tidied herself up, and left silently.

When Callum finished his shower and came out, the room was empty.

As he dried his damp hair with a towel, he muttered, "What a scumbag. She left without even saying goodbye."

He heard a message notification sound from the bedside table and went to check his phone.

[Most Beautiful Girl Ever (Adora): It's cold outside, so I borrowed your coat. Thanks for that! I'll return it at E&S Haven later.]

[Most Beautiful Girl Ever (Adora): You know how my dad is, so don't let him know I was hungover. I'll treat you to dinner sometime.]

She ended with a heart emoji.

Seeing the emoji, Callum's annoyance vanished. Next, he quickly found Elliot's number in his contacts and sent a text.

[Callum: Uncle Eli, I had a fever at the film set last night. Adora came to check on me, but it was too late, so I didn't let her go back. She stayed in the crew's dormitory. After my fever broke, she left for the National Investigation Bureau this morning.]

After taking care of everything, Callum found a hair dryer and started drying his hair.
