"Okay."
After pondering it over, Elliot continued, "Is the highway surveillance in this area complete?"
"Rest assured, Mr. Jenkins. Not only is it complete, but it's also untouched."
"Get the surveillance from the past few hours and check again for any suspicious vehicles."
"Yes, Mr. Jenkins."
The auxiliary police behind Petros pushed open the police barricade and made way for Elliot's convoy.
Elliot turned around and got in the car.
Before the car door was closed, Elliot said to Petros, who was standing outside, "Get in."
"Me?"
Petros was flattered and quickly put away his umbrella, shook off the water on it, and sat opposite Elliot.
The armored car quickly drove onto the highway and headed for the separate surveillance room in the middle.
Within two minutes, Petros received the verified information and immediately handed the tablet to Elliot.
"These are the details of the two cars we checked tonight, Mr. Jenkins. Their identities checked out."
Elliot took the tablet, his face stern as he scanned the information.
There were no issues. The occupants of the cars had been thoroughly verified.
The atmosphere in the vehicle was tense, and Petros felt a chill running down his spine as he sat across from Elliot.
He shuffled closer to Lance and whispered, "What's going on? Mr. Jenkins looks so scary. I feel like he might just shoot me if he had a gun."
Lance suppressed a laugh.
Before Lance could respond, Elliot's cold voice sounded.
"There aren't many people in this car, and I'm not deaf. Your whispering is pointless."
Petros was embarrassed and chuckled awkwardly.
"Mr. Jenkins, you're known to be detail-oriented and serious at work. It's just that it's my first time meeting such an important figure like you, so I'm a bit nervous and…"
Elliot remained expressionless, uninterested in Petros's flattery.

The readers' comments on the novel: Wait, She’s a Billionaire (Sheena Lawson)
The novel is too abusive it spoils the joy of reading it. I hate the punishment part between sheena and Eliot....
