The more Nathaniel spoke, the darker Sheena's expression grew, and she finally interrupted him.
"Nathaniel, Mavis and I have important matters to attend to. Please, stop calling unless it's urgent," she said firmly before hanging up and handing the phone back to Mavis.
"Don't let a troublesome man ruin your day. Let's have lunch, and then you can join me for the negotiations with Giorgio this afternoon."
Mavis was still relatively inexperienced in many aspects of business, and she felt a surge of gratitude and excitement.
Sheena's offer to mentor her was invaluable.
She believed in Sheena's advice that as long as she was capable enough, she would not be upset even when Nathaniel left her.
Adjusting her mood, Mavis smiled and said, "Thank you, Sheena. I'll do my best not to be a burden."
After a hearty lunch and a quick freshening up, Sheena, Mavis, and Logan headed to the negotiation venue with Giorgio.
During the drive, Mavis suddenly recalled something important.
"Sheena, a friend of mine has some influence around here and might be able to help us. Should I ask him to join us?"
Raymond was involved in the underground world, and Gorgio would probably not pull any petty tricks with him around.
Sheena considered Mavis's suggestion and agreed.
Then, she instructed the driver to stop the car on the roadside, giving Mavis time to contact Raymond.
Mavis quickly dialed Raymond's number and got straight to the point.
"Ray, I need your help. Can you come to Bauro? My friend has a negotiation with Giorgio."
Raymond's tone immediately became serious.
"How did your friend get involved with Giorgio? That guy is notorious around here, and he only cares about money."
"It's a long story. Can you make it?"
Raymond never refused Mavis's requests and replied, "I'm nearby. I'll be there soon. Do you need me to bring some backup?"
Mavis turned to Sheena and asked, "Sheena, my friend is asking how many people we need. He'll meet us there with his men."

The readers' comments on the novel: Wait, She’s a Billionaire (Sheena Lawson)
The novel is too abusive it spoils the joy of reading it. I hate the punishment part between sheena and Eliot....
