Wait, She’s a Billionaire (Sheena Lawson) novel Chapter 2013

Nathaniel struggled to prop himself up and asked with a raspy voice, "Where are her ashes?"

Ella glanced at Sheena, who gave a small nod.

Then, she left the room, returning moments later with an urn.

Ella walked over to Nathaniel and handed him the urn.

Nathaniel took it, and his eyes became teary once again.

The grief almost overwhelmed him.

His voice trembled as he asked Sheena, "Did she have any last words for me?"

"Yes," Sheena replied.

Nathaniel's blue eyes flickered with a faint glimmer of hope, but Sheena's words were unrelentingly harsh.

"She said her biggest regret in life was falling for you when you were teaching in Harbor City and then chasing you to Froania. If she had another life, she would keep her distance and remain a stranger."

Leaning against the side of the bed, Nathaniel managed a sad smile.

Tears continued to fall from his eyes as he mumbled, "In the end, I failed her."

Sheena felt a pang of sympathy and turned her gaze away.

"The dead can't come back to life. I hope you come to terms with this soon. If you regret it, take good care of your child, as it is her only legacy in this world."

After finishing, Sheena and Elliot left, followed by Ella.

At the door, Sheena met a nurse coming to feed the baby.

She instructed, "Nathaniel is still deeply grieving and may not be able to care for the child. Please take extra care of the baby and call me immediately if anything happens."
