When Nathaniel arrived with Callum's favorite pumpkin soup, Callum was asleep in bed, his small, pale face marked with tear stains.
Mildred's eyes were red from crying.
Nathaniel noticed something was wrong and asked, "Grandma, what's the matter?"
"Callum woke up about ten minutes ago, clinging to me and crying. He wouldn't tell me why, and now he's cried himself to sleep again."
She glanced at the clock. "It's only 6.30 a.m. You've been up all night. Why are you back so soon?"
"I couldn't sleep. I thought Callum might not like the hospital breakfast, so I bought some pumpkin soup from a nearby restaurant."
Nathaniel set down the food and sat by Callum's bed, carefully using a damp cloth to wipe Callum's face.
Mildred patted her chest, trying to soothe herself as she asked, "How's your injury?"
"It's nothing to worry about, Grandma. I'm fine."
Nathaniel had gotten an X-ray, which showed no broken bones, just significant swelling in his shoulder.
He had used ice last night, and the doctor recommended wearing a brace or bandage to prevent further injury.
However, Nathaniel did not want to scare Callum with the brace, so he decided against it.
After making sure Callum looked clean and refreshed, Nathaniel noticed that Mildred's condition was not ideal.
"Grandma, you should rest. I'll stay here with Callum."
Before Mildred could object, Nathaniel added, "I've already called Hugh to come pick you up. You need to take care of yourself. If you let me worry about you too, it won't help anyone."
"Alright, but if anything comes up with Callum, call me."

The readers' comments on the novel: Wait, She’s a Billionaire (Sheena Lawson)
The novel is too abusive it spoils the joy of reading it. I hate the punishment part between sheena and Eliot....
